Rich was born and raised on a ranch outside of Amarillo, Texas. Ever since a friend gave him an old smoker 12 years ago, smoking real Texas barbecue has been his passion. Now located in Dallas, Texas, he has customized his own personal rub blends over the last decade, selected the best wood for flavorful results, and learned how to identify and source the quality meats that make his smoked barbecue his own.

Rich's wife Jennifer fell in love with Rich and then his barbecue and now helps run the business and catering. She is always researching recipes and working to ensure all Three R's sides and desserts are top-notch.
